Key ingredients of Salcura's Emollient Therapy include extract of the sea buckthorn plant, genuine Damascan rose water, marigold extract, jojoba oil and avocado oil. In particular, the fruit of the sea buckthorn plant is a renowned source of essential vitamins. No other known plant offers so many active ingredients, especially the high amounts of Vitamin A, Vitamin E, Vitamin H and Vitamin F. The high Vitamin A content in sea buckthorn, when working synergetically with the other bioactive substances in our Emollient Therapy also gives unusually high skin repair characteristics.

In addition, the berries of the sea buckthorn plant from which this lotion is made are a natural source of antioxidants, in particular Vitamins A, C, and E. It is well known that such antioxidants help combat wrinkles, dryness and other symptoms of ageing or neglected skin. The Vitamin C content is among the highest of any plant (4th after rose hips, hot chilli pepper and sweet red pepper), whilst for Vitamin E it takes second place behind nuts and seeds, which have a high fat content. Contains large amounts of Omega 3, 6 and 9 and is especially high in Omega 7.
