Keromask is a range of effective
camouflage creams suitable for disguising all pigmentation disorders, small or
large, such as:
vitiligo,
port wine stains,
scars,
tattoos,
discoloured skin and
broken veins.
The camouflage creams are opaque and provide a much greater depth of coverage
than an ordinary make-up foundation.
Keromask is suitable for adults and children, male or female and can be used
all over the body.
Keromask has a long established history and was the first cosmetic brand to be
recognised by the British Medical Association. Keromask was developed by
dermatologists and is suitable for use on the most sensitive skin.
Keromask is un-perfumed, hypoallergenic and unlikely to cause an allergic
reaction.
There are nine shades to choose from, which means that Keromask can be adapted
to suit every skin colour. Shades can be blended easily to produce the perfect
skin colour match.
It is light and non-greasy and feels very smooth and comfortable on your skin.
After applying the finishing powder, Keromask is fully waterproof, which allows
you to go swimming. One application can last for at least eight hours, so
coverage is effective throughout the day. This is a very concentrated cream and
is exceptionally economical.
Keromask should be applied to clean, dry, grease-free skin, if necessary
cleansing the area with toner to remove any excess oils. The Pre-mix
colours may be suitable for application directly onto the skin. However,
should colour-matching be required, mixing can be done on the back of a hand or
on a palette. Then Keromask can be applied to the area with fingertips or
a sponge, patting or rolling it onto the skin.
To help colour-matching, mix the colour to match the skin directly next to the
area to be covered. This ensures that the area of camouflage blends well
into the natural skin tone. The Shade Selector Guide and samples will
help determine which colours are most relevant to the skin’s own natural shade.
To “fix” the Keromask cream and give a long-lasting finish it should be dusted
very lightly with Keromask Finishing Powder, using a brush or a dry cotton wool
pad. Excess powder should be brushed away. If necessary, a slightly
damp piece of cotton wool can be pressed lightly over the area to remove any
appearance of having been powdered. This is particularly useful for male
users of Keromask. Applied in this manner, Keromask lasts for at least
eight hours and is fully waterproof, which allows the wearer to go swimming.
Pat, rather than rub the skin dry.
Generally one layer of Keromask is sufficient, but when camouflaging very dark
pigmentation, two or more thin layers of cream and powder are more effective
than one thick application. Everyday make-up can be applied over a fixed
area of Keromask without disturbing it, yet Keromask is easy to remove with a
good quality cleansing cream.
