1x30ml bottle of Squalane Mosituriser + 1 x 120ml bottle of Glycolic Wash
Glycolic Exfoliation Wash 120ml
Glycolic Acid or Fruit Acids, also known as Alpha Hydroxy Acids, are nontoxic naturally occurring substances found in a variety of fruits such as grapes, apples and sugar cane. They are also commonly known as Glycolic, Citric, Malic, Lactic and Pyruvic Acids. Glycolic Acid removes the outer layers of thickened or damaged skin leaving a smoother and healthier appearance.
Glycolic Acid is capable of penetrating into the deeper layers of the skin and increasing the rate of dead cell shedding, new skin cell production and collagen formation. With prolonged use, Glycolic Acid has been found to be beneficial in improving dry skin, in treating age spots, improving oily and acne prone skin and decreasing fine lines and wrinkles
Ingredients: Distilled water, natural alpha hydroxy acids, lactic, glycolic and pyruvic acids.
Directions: Apply a few drops to a cotton pad. Gently clease the skin using a buffing action. Rinse well with tepid water.
Squalane Oil
Squalane is a remarkable extract found in olive oil. It is also synthesized in the human liver, a deficiency of which results in dry skin and premature aging. Squalane is an unsaturated oil having a molecular structure similar to Vitamin A.
Squalane was initially discovered in Japan where it was used successfully to treat tuberculosis. It has been shown to have beneficial effects in the management of dermatitis and skin cancer.
Japanese scientists also believe that Squalane has a tumour blocking potential. It has been found to be a remarkable immunopotentiating agent which stimulates cell mediated cytotoxicity and suppression of tumour growth (Natural Tumour Centre Japan).
Studies have shown that Squalane has a stimulatory effect on the healing process which is thought to be due to its oxidizing effect.
Squalane is used in some of the world's most expensive beauty formulas. Beneficial effects on the skin include decrease in dryness and smoothing of wrinkles and scaly skin. Squalane is one of the most effective moisturizers available.
