Glabridin inhibits pigmentation by preventing tyrosinase activation. Studies have shown that it can provide a considerable skin brightening effect. Licorice also has anti-inflammatory properties making it a very popular ingredient in sikincare.

Mulberry Extract
Mulberry extract is a potent inhibitor of Tyrosinase enzyme. (Tyrosinase catalyzes the production of melanin and other pigments).

And, even more impressively, the average pigmentation intensity of women participating in the trial was reduced by 22%.
This study showed that Pycnogenol was proven to be a safe and effective way to achieve lighter skin which was rid of dark marks, spots and patchy areas without any side effects.
Therefore, it can be said that Pycnogenol really does help to lighten and even out skin tone while protecting it from further sun damage.

Retinol works to speed up the turnover of skin cells, fades hyperpigmentation marks, stimulates the production of collagen, and helps to hydrate the skin.
