Exfoliating can help to clear pigmentation on your skin. Pigmentation is the dark areas that come from sun damage, age, pregnancy and changes in your hormonal balance. These areas tend to become more apparent and darker as the skin ages. Exfoliation helps to break up the pigmented skin cells which encourages them to fade. It is important if you have uneven skin to use an exfoliator on the face or body at least twice a week. We recommend removing dead skin cells while cleaning the skin and hydrate it with a good, light moisturiser.
